Lancôme unveils its luxurious beauty advent calendar for 2020. Each wonderful house filled with a beauty surprise. It is impressive, both the presentation and the contents! The best way to make every day of the holiday season feel special and exciting!
In case you are not familiar with Advent Calendars, an Advent Calendar is a calendar used to count the days of Advent (season of the liturgical year, also known as the church year or Christian year ) in anticipation of Christmas. Following this concept, many beauty brands put together an Advent Beauty Calendar containing 24 of their products that they sell for less than half the price. It is a good opportunity to get your favourite products and try new ones all at a reasonable price.
The Lancôme calendar is my favourite because you get great value for your money, and they never fail with the presentation. This year the design is a pink box that opens to lay flat to display a pop-up holographic Eiffel Tower. Surrounding the tower are the 24 small boxes that are designed as buildings/ houses within a sparkly Paris skyline. Each building is numbered and contains the products.
This box makes a perfect Christmas decoration. You can leave it laid out on display and open one box, each of the 24 days as the countdown to Christmas, or you can do as I usually do, and open it all up!
Along with the design, the contents are equally as impressive. The estimated value is CAD650.00, and the retail price is CAD199.00. I consider this as an investment because it contains lots of my favourite products which I wouldn't need to repurchase for a while.
